All-Star Gymnasts

Bodell and Shae had their gymnastics program on Monday. It is always fun to see the things that they have learned in the year. Shae just started taking gymnastics a month ago. She was desperate to learn to cartwheel before the program. She practiced and practiced at home. At the program she proudly cartwheeled down the mat.

Team Pink Panthers

Bodell wanted to put a team together for the Tessa's Hope Ride for Autism bike rice. She called four of her friends and they formed "Team Pink Panthers." They road close to four miles through town to the various check points. I thought they were all so cute and I had a great time riding with them. I was very proud of Bodell for putting the team together and having such a great attitude during the race.

Here we are about a block into the race.

Here is our team riding from the college to White Rocks.

Can you tell the girls are starting to get tired by this point? By the end, the hills were pretty tuff for them.

Here is Bodell at her last checkpoint.

I loved riding with Bodell. It is fun to watch Bodell grow up and be interested in things that we can do together. I look forward to many more races together!

Great job Team Pink Panther! Way to go..2nd place!!!!

Andrew's Blessing

Andrew was blessed on Easter Sunday. It was fun to have so much family in attendance. All the Bunkers, he Andersons, Great-Grandma, Grandma and Grandpa, Jeff's family, Christian's family, and Sunny's family were there to support Andrew. After the blessing we had a yummy dinner at our house.

All the kids dressed for Easter.

Eastering

We went Eastering this year with Josh's family. We went to the traditional picnic spot at Comb. Sunny and I were commenting that our pictures each year of Easter look the exact same. Traditions! This year was cold and rainy, but we did not let that stop us from having a great time and eating some good food.

Does this look like Easter weather?

Here come the kids ready for the Easter egg hunt.

Faster Bodell, Sydny is right behind you!

Brigham looks sad in this picture, but actually he was questioning me where he could find some more eggs. He was trying to go as fast as any of the big kids.

Christian holding Andrew.

Yippee! the hunt was a success. The money in the eggs was definitely the best prize. Thanks Ben and Christian.

Even Brigham was proud of his two dollars.

Bodell's loot.

Andrew's first Easter. Doing what he does best...sleeping.

Here the crew is getting ready to race their eggs down the rocks. This was Brigham's favorite part. He spent the rest of the picnic, finding new eggs and throwing them down the rocks.

Coloring Easter Eggs

What is Easter without the fun of dieing Easter eggs? Thanks to Grandma the kids had lots of choices in colors and accessories to show their creative side.

I am not sure if Brigham got more dye on the eggs or his hands.

Andrew is 2 months

Andrew is now TWO MONTHS old. He seems to be growing up so quickly. He is such a good baby. He usually sleeps through the night a couple times a week. If he doesn't sleep through the night, he will only wake up once for a quick feeding. He likes to smile now. And makes the cutest cooing sounds. He is still adored by his sisters and brother. They love it when he smiles at them. He loves to stay up with Josh and I. As soon as we put the kids to bed he is wide awake, and will stay awake until we go to bed. At his doctor's appointment yesterday he weighed 10 lbs 1.5 ozs. We still do not have a real schedule, but I am sure that is because we are always on the go. Andrew is used to going everywhere.

Luckily his rash is getting much better.

What a cutie!!!

Happy Birthday Grandma

My Mom's birthday was on Saturday. We had a party for her at my Uncle Jeff's house. My mom is such an amazing woman. She will do ANYTHING for her kids and grandkids. She has been such a great example to me. Thanks for everything mom. We love you! Happy Birthday.

My mom turned 61, but decided to flip the candles so that she was Sweet 16 again.

Brigham was very excited for Grandma to blow out the candles. After we were finished singing to her, he continued with his own rendition of Happy Birthday.

Bedtime stories

I thought this scene was just too cute. I had to take a picture. I had propped Andrew up on the bed while I was getting the rest of the kids ready for bed. They like to read their bedtime stories in my room. So, they all jumped on the bed and huddled around Bodell who was reading for the night. I love how it looks like Andrew is really into the story.

My Poor Baby!

Look at my poor baby! He has a horrible rash (Josh told me the medical term, but I can't remember it.) He looks like he belongs on the cover of one of Josh's medical magazines. I am trying to get this rash cleared up by the time he is blessed on Easter. I am just glad it doesn't seem to bother him.
